As a therapist, I am keenly interested in the formative experiences and unconscious processes which have helped to create the shape of our current-day lives. I believe the most powerful tool I can provide as a therapist is an authentic and safe relationship to help you through the process of better understanding yourself to create lasting change. Using a straightforward style, I take a bespoke approach with each client, allowing the needs of the individual to guide our work.
I am experienced in working with abuse and trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, reproductive issues (infertility, pregnancy, bereavement), and have a strong interest in sexuality and cultural identity/expat issues. I trained at Regent’s University in London and am primarily psychodynamic in orientation, but frequently bring together different skills and modalities to best assist you in reaching your goals.
I come from a 20 yr background in social services, and enjoy running, independent music gigs, and art.
I offer early morning and evening availability at Staple Inn, as well as flexible FaceTime/Skype sessions. I also have availability on Saturdays. You can read more about my approach, availability and fees here.

I see therapy as a collaborative, supportive working relationship which provides a unique space to make sense of what is going on in your life and the way you are feeling. Together we will shed light on the difficulties you face and explore the possibilities and choices available to you, enabling you to live life more fully and to take active steps towards change.
I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, loss, relationships and life changes. I trained at Regent's University, London. My approach is existential, a practical, relational approach which involves working with your real, lived experience rather than interpretations based on theories and models of the mind. I work both short or long term, depending on your needs.
Before training as a therapist my background was in journalism and music, and I have a special interest in performance anxiety.
I offer sessions at Staple Inn and at my practice in Clerkenwell (close to Barbican and Farringdon stations). You can find more information here.
We each offer a reduced fee initial consultation, which is an opportunity for you to discuss the issues you'd like to focus on and to see whether our approach is right for you. Please contact us to arrange a consultation session.
Following on from the first meeting, sessions are weekly, either short-term or longer-term. Please contact us to discuss your needs and enquire about our fees.
